BIOGRAPHY

I am Luis Muñoz, DJ, event manager and artist agent. Founder of ELLUZ-EVENT, a company established in 2017 that specialises in sophisticated DJ services, performances, bands for catering and events in general. I grew up in my native Andalusia, where music and dance have fascinated me since childhood. Influenced by the music of the 70s and 80s (jazz, soul, funk, disco), I started working at the age of 16. I played at various venues on the Andalusian coast, in Barcelona and Madrid as a resident DJ and later as a DJ in major clubs.

From 1990 onwards, I divided my time between Spain and England for three years before settling in London, where I took a major cultural step forward in my career. Seeking further training and knowledge in the fields of music, technology and arts promotion, I began my doctorate in the best cities in Central Europe, with several visits to the USA, the Dominican Republic and Mexico. In 1997, I joined PLATAFORMA DLF (LEISURE DEVELOPMENT PLATFORM), one of the most important Spanish companies based in Barcelona, specialising in entertainment, design, architecture, events, promotion, etc., as a DJ and artistic promoter.

While living in Barcelona, I worked with the best bands and collectives in the city and travelled to various cities in Spain (Madrid, Ibiza, Andalusia, etc.). As I always give one hundred per cent in every session, have extensive experience in the industry and keep my discography up to date, I was able to make a name for myself in Spain by working with national radio stations such as Faix FM Barcelona (sponsored by Grupo Danzatoria). I have also worked with labels and music producers (Codigo Records, Blanco & Negro, Stomp Recordings Barcelona) and participated in the SONAR FESTIVAL for eight years, where I was able to showcase my skills with downtempo, tech house, deep house, soulful, funky, nu disco, jackin' house and nu jazz.

From 2014 to 2017, I was resident DJ at BOCA (restaurant, cocktail bar), one of the most famous and award-winning restaurants in DUBAI, located in the financial centre (DIFC). I also work with event agencies to promote brands and organise corporate and private events. I have been living in Cologne since 2017. There I founded my company, am resident DJ at LAB12 (Pullman Hotel Cologne) and work on various events throughout Germany.

ARTISTIC AGENT:

As an artist agent, I focus on creating dynamic collaborations between agencies and artists to enable unique musical experiences. I work closely with talented artists and various agencies to develop events that prioritise quality and originality. My approach is to create authentic and lasting connections and ensure that each project is tailor-made and meets the expectations of all involved. With a broad network of contacts and a passion for the music industry, my goal is to promote artistic excellence and take music to new heights.

Although these references do not include occasional gigs, each residency has been an invaluable opportunity to leave a lasting impression on the music scene and continue my passion for electronic music.
